St Charles College of Commerce and Science, New Town, Bhadravathi is the result of the powerful vision of the Sisters of St Charles Borromeo, spearheaded by a group of highly committed and dedicated management team.  The principal aim of this institution is academic excellence of the weaker and down trodden sections of the society. Our college is a self-financing higher educational institution, recognized by the Pre-University Board at Bangalore and affiliated to the Kuvempu University of Karnataka.

It is situated in an idyllic eco-friendly lush green land in the vicinity of VISL, Bhadravathi.  The institution has been playing a pivotal role in the socio-economic development of the semi urban area of Bhadravathi Taluk.

We are more conscious in imparting Holistic and value based Education to students, with a strong moral base.  The college is having 23 faculty members and 7 members of office and support staff.

Our students are encouraged to join the college level Clubs, Cells, Associations etc.  for developing their co-curricular and extra-curricular talents.  I am happy to say that our students enjoy all the facilities available in the college such as well-furnished labs, well packed library, drinking water, good canteen, internet etc. and thus they become more confident, academically bright, morally strong and they are well placed in the society.
